What happens during a portrait session?

A session lasts about 1 hour, during which time we take care to lead with gentleness and humor to make this portrait photo session a good time for you. What is your technique? How will we get the pictures?

We take great care of the development and the quality of our photographic files: All our pictures are taken in RAW format with 55 million pixels for best results. Then, we work on every portrait, one by one, by hand, to achieve a professional look and a beautiful black and white with shades and contrasts, with a nice range of grays, deep blacks and whites bright.
A few days after the session portraits, we deliver digital black and white files, all optimized and copyright free for your personal use with your family or for your business communication. Pictures are delivered via a private platform where you can view, download and share all the pictures. We specialize in the black and white photo and the technical development of black and white.

Do you make portraits in color too?

Our eyes see in black and white, our portraits take on their full dimension with the beautiful rendering of the contrast in black and white and the development work that we carry out after the shooting. The black and white portrait is flattering and timeless as the color and brings a touch of chic that has no color: just open any major fashion magazine for the pervasiveness of black and white and the charm of this process. However, on request, it is possible to develop a selection of color images. This additional work is very different from black and white development work and asks a slight additional cost calculated based on the number of desired color images. How many people can you shoot in the same time?

We chose to make our sessions in rather small studio for more privacy and that our models are comfortable quickly, so we are limited to 5 people (adult, teen or child) at the same time. We carry out family pictures in small groups and associations. For family photos with children under 6 years old, we can not guarantee the outcome, it is the baby that directs the session and it all depends on his mood!

For a session in one of our studios, our price starts at € 350 and includes shooting of one person or a couple for about 1 hour, and delivery of 20 black and white images optimized and slightly retouched in high definition and copyright free.
